Garden helper...

This is Manto the Magnificent and he lives in my garden.
My sister and niece hatched him and about 30 of his praying mantis brothers and sisters and I let them loose in my backyard. When they hatched they were about a quarter inch or so and Manto here is now 1.25 inches long! He is fascinating to look at and watch and he can stay as long as he wants and eat as many garden pests as he wants!

Been a while...

So it has been a while since I have posted on here...been busy and had back problems that have kept me from working on the garden. But I recently started some seeds and the back problems have gone away so I am back in business.

On June 30th I planted various seeds in my little greenhouse and 2 days later my radish seeds had already sprouted :)

Gonna be a bumper crop :D More to come!
